Scratches or floor damage that has already occurred can be disguised as the mat is not see-through. 

This chair mat is designed to protect low, medium and deep pile carpet floorings. It is not suitable for hard floors such as hardwood or laminate.

Polycarbonate chair mats do not crack, curl, break, scratch or yellow. They are non-smelling and completely PVC free.

A great improvement to my home office.

Excellent Service. Mat was as described and I am very pleased with it. My chair now moves around the office with such ease instead of digging in the carpet!

Quality
This is an excellent product.
I bought 4 for the office to cover up a lifting carpet joint.
Adjacent to desks the chair wheels were wearing the carpet joint thin and lifting it.
These mats have covered it a treat and provide much easier chair movement.
Very pleased with this excellent product.
