How do I apply security stair treads?
Most outdoor stair treads are fixed into place using a strip of technologically advanced adhesive tape, which resists moisture and frost and will bond with even the smoothest of surfaces.
For best results clean and dry the step and apply the stair tread in moderate temperatures. In cold weather you may wish to heat the adhesive tape during application, for example using a hairdryer.
Aluminium stair treads are fixed into place using a screw and anchor system, which bolts the tread to the step.
