Do I need any additional tools, equipment or material to apply the treads?

Carpet stair treads are installed simply using the self adhesive tape supplied with the treads.

For stair treads that are fixed using a screw and anchor system you will need additional equipment such as a drill and screwdriver in order to install the treads.
