Can I remove stair treads without damaging my stairs?
Indoor carpet stair treads are fixed into place using a technologically advanced adhesive tape. This makes sure they hold firmly to the surface of the step, but also permits the tread to be easily removed without leaving behind any residue or causing damage to your wooden stairs. In order to remove stair treads from wooden steps simply heat the adhesive (e.g. with a blowdryer) and remove the mat from your step.
Aluminium stair treads are installed using a screw and anchor system, which will leave a hole in your stairs once they are removed.
