Great floor protecter. Thin in thickness so you don't trip over the edge, yet translucent so I can still see some of my new laminate floor beneath. Matt surface ideal as it doesn't reflect the light. High density so it doesn't dimple under the casters of my swivel chair. A little on the expensive side but then if it provides long term protection for £700 laminate floor then money well spent.

A good quality product, arrived quickly after ordering and was packaged flat in a cardboard sleeve. Makes pushing chair away from the desk much easier and protects the hardwood floor. Thoroughly recommended.

I am very pleased with the chair mat as it stays put and despite a heavy wheeled chair shows no sign of wear.  Glad I went for the polypropylene and not PVC-type mat.

Good grief! I have a traditional Norfolk cottage with old pamment floor tiles, and I wish I had found out about these mats a few years ago. Not only has it been almost impossible to move about on my swivel chair, but the chair's wheels were damaging the surface of the tiles.

This mat has made all the difference in the world, I can now easily move the chair back and forth from my desk. The mat stays firmly in place on the tiles, and is doing a grand job of protecting them. Since it is in the office bit of my main room, it isn't too offensive on the eye either.

We ordered the opaque mats and they were not as expected and really not suitable for a light wooden floor as they have a cheapening effect. Then had to pay £15 to return them.

Floormat arrived too late because courier send it to the wrong address.
The floor mat itself is not too expensive but cannot compare with other floormats as I dont have these others.

It is used at home on a wooden floor and it works okay.

If you don't want anything special and not ruin your wooden floor that this mat will be okay.

The mat is of good quality and the size is great as it allows for movement of the chair without going on to the wooden floor.

The backing is not easy to see or remove but once done the mat seems to not slip or move on the floor.

The only thing that I don't like is the fact that it is opaque, I had not realised this at the time of ordering. However my husband uses this one in his office and I have taken the clear one for me.

Very quick delivery and packaged flat so it can be put down and used straight away.

Sorry for delay in replying but was waiting for the new hard floor to be completed.

Nearly had kittens when I saw it wrapped around in the box, but when I took it out of the box it laid out flat as good as gold.

Material is certainly thick enough to use a wheeled typist/executive chair on it in safety with no thought of damage to the floor, and is long enough to tuck the end under the computer stand and not have the chair run off the end.

All in all, a very good purchase and i know whom i'll be back to for another mat.

I can say I am very pleased with the chair mat I purchased. It stays put and so far seems not to mark. I have a substantial type of wheeled chair and  the mat does not seem to have suffered or be moving. I have not compared prices but I am pleased with the cost of the mat  and and glad I made the purchase, great idea.

I ordered this mat as my chair was marking the floor. It arrived flat packed and with a clear protective covering on the back. This is a bit difficult to see until you come to remove it. Once removed the mat stays in position and does not move, when the wheeled computer chair is used.

I chose the opaque because the floor had already been marked slightly and the mat covers this up.

I found the 120x90 ideal as there is room on it to move the chair under the desk too.

I would recommend this mat if you are thinking of buying one. It is exactly what i hoped it would be.

Having just laid an expensive wooden floor at home i wanted something to protect it from damage via my computer chair. I looked at a number of reviews and various suppliers but this appealed because

a) it's packed flat and hence instantly laid with no 'flattening out' problems to worry about.
b) Like my workstation, it's made in Germany and quality was hopefully going to be very high.

Out of the packing - a bit disappointing initially, the courier delivered it to the wrong address despite the label being correct and i had to go and collect it, having had a note through my door via the recipient. My heart sank when unpacked because the scalloped edges appeared very rough, like getting trimmed with a blunt knife but i soon discovered that was only the blue coloured protective film. Once removed, the product looked smart and has a slightly dimpled underside to prevent slippage. Laid down, the acid test - i zipped my chair back and forth to simulate getting up from a sitting position and mat is very stable, besides showing the flooring through the clear material.

All in all, it does what i want well and i would have given top marks for VFM had it not been for the delivery error. You might argue that's not the suppliers fault, but i'd say it's still part of the customer experience and that counts for a lot in business...

I have a wood floor in my study and i did not know about floor mats until a had a brochure from the company i bought my office chair from. I thought it looked smart so i bought one i am very happy with it, i did find it difficult removing the backing plastic. The mat is easy to keep clean and is secure on the floor. I would say it is good value for money.

This floor mat is probably better for placing chairs with wheels on it. In my case I have a folding chair whtout wheels. This mat keep developing some marks from 4 legs of chair. Also it is kind of very slippery between floorboard and mat when you walk over it so be careful when you place leg on ithe mat walking over it. Wish this mat have some rubber backing to prevent sliping.
