Quite easy to fit, great look

They were reasonably easy to fit, although the construction is a separate rubber mat under the pre-drilled aluminium. This means that not all the rubber circles stick through properly. I had a bit of a fiddle getting them to sit right initially - as it proved impossible to get all the rubber protruding through correctly.
Once they were screwed to the stairs though, with a little bit of use, all the rubber was aligned in the right place. An installation note explaining this would have saved me some time.
The final result though looks very nice, and should make the stairs safer to use.
